This weekend was all about showing love to one of our own, Thad Jean, straight out of Fort Lauderdale, repping Broward County and Haitian pride like no other. If you weren’t there at the Seminole Hardrock Casino, let me tell you, you missed something special. Thad went head-to-head with Chris Brown, and from the jump, it was clear who was running the show.
Thad isn’t just another fighter—he’s a problem, from Broward County, with that strong Haitian American spirit. This man has been putting in work, and it shows. Chris Brown is tough, no doubt, but Thad made it look easy. Every punch, every move, it was like watching an artist at work. He was in complete control from the first bell to the last, and by the end, there was no question who the king of that cage was.
The City and the Culture Had His Back
But what made this night even better was the energy in the building. Fort Lauderdale and all of Broward came out deep to show love to Thad, and the vibe was electric. It wasn’t just about the fight—it was about the city, the community, and that Haitian pride we all felt seeing one of our own shine on such a big stage. Lords of Lauderdale was right there, repping alongside all the day ones, feeling that hometown and cultural love.
